Instructions for using ServiceChannel in our branches
In this section, you and, in particular, your technicians and employees who carry out work on site will find instructions on how to use ServiceChannel in our branches.
The basic process:
- Start the ServiceChannel app: Once the technician arrives on site, they open the ServiceChannel app on their work mobile phone or tablet.
- Select the work order: The technician selects the appropriate work order in the system. You can assign work orders to them in advance or give them the order number, which they can then search for in the system.
- Check in: Once the work order has been found in the system, it can be started. To officially begin work, the technician must actively click on ‘Check in’. Time tracking will start at this point.
- Check out: As soon as the work is complete, the app must be notified that the work order has been completed. This is done by clicking on ‘Check out’, which stops the time tracking.
- Signature of the branch manager: To finally complete the work order, the branch manager must sign the work order in the app, thereby confirming that the work has been carried out successfully.
